I feel for you. Are you getting physio? I still have to use a brace on my right knee if I am driving very far, but it is quite a lightweight one now. I do drive far quite often because my boyfriend lives 106 miles away and my parents live about 400 miles away.
I am sorry about your dog. I have two, my Staffie Scruffy, and a Border Collie, Jake. Jake is 15 and has just been diagnosed, this week, with epilepsy. Then vet thinks he might not be with us much longer so every day is precious.
Hi Tessa, I'm Barbara. Just looked on your profile so I could see your profile picture enlarged. Is this beautiful dog a Rottweiller, it looks very much like one I used to have? My profile pic is my Staffie! Sorry about your knee. Very painful. I crouched down to get in a low drawer in March, I tore the ligaments in the bak of both knees, the tendons in the front and the meniscus in both knees. I have just been discharged from physio because I can now bend them more than 90 degrees, and I can walk without a stick (only about half a mile though). I am still using morphine patches and paracetamol for the pain. They tell me the ligaments and tendons hurt more and for longer than broken bones! Aren't we lucky!!
